During this most extraordinary moment in the pro-life movement, we hope you will join us at our 2024 Annual Benefit Dinner on Friday, May 10th, at the Bayou Event Center, as we share our successes, current challenges, and honor and surprise our annual David Awardee, a volunteer who shows indomitable valor when facing the giant of the abortion industry. 

While Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022 - a major giant - and abortion was made illegal in Texas, in many ways, the pro-life movement has only just begun. Unfortunately, women continue to find themselves in crisis pregnancies, oftentimes alone and with little to no support. Abortion pills are easily obtained through the mail - even in Texas - and two former abortion facilities, including the largest Planned Parenthood in the Western Hemisphere, remain open in Houston. In addition, many abortion facilities in nearby states like New Mexico and Kansas, where it is still legal, report a large percentage of clients being from Texas. While we are grateful for so many gains that, without a doubt, have saved countless innocent lives, our work continues.   

Houston Coalition for Life was founded as a Christian ministry in 2002 with one mission - ending abortion in Houston peacefully and prayerfully. Even in this post-Roe era, our mission remains as important as ever. We now operate five Blue Blossom Pregnancy Centers, including four mobile pregnancy centers - Big Blue, Baby Blue, Little One and Little Two - as well as our main office. All our pregnancy centers provide free pregnancy tests, free ultrasounds, and free confidential Christian counseling in underserved neighborhoods where the abortion industry has preyed upon women for far too long. Since we launched the Big Blue Bus in 2011, we have had 34,612 visits to our Blue Blossom Pregnancy Centers and 93% of the women with positive pregnancy tests have chosen life for their baby. In 2023 alone, we had 4,450 visits to our centers, which was a 17% increase over the previous year.
